WashU Cyber Roundtable - Relying On 3rd Parties

  • Charles F Knight Executive Education Center Snow Way Drive St. Louis, MO, 63130 United States (map)

The Alliance partners with Washington University in St. Louis Missouri on an 8 month long series of roundtable discussions with the leading information security experts from around the country.

Our audience of mid, to senior-level information security professionals gather monthly on campus at the Charles F. Knight Executive Center for a 6 hour session of intensive learning, bench marking and networking.

Each session consists of 3-4 topical discussions around a common theme.

Finding trusted partners and managing them is always a challenging business. Likewise, managing “necessary” yet possibly untrusted vendors is often a reality as well. It is also important to recognize that, while you may be paying the bills, any partnership that matters is a two way relationship that your organization has a vital role in. Join us to talk about how to best make 3rd party relationships work, how to determine what can and should be outsourced, and what makes you a good client.

  • Making the inside/outside decisions (Erica Wilson, RGA)

  • Maximize vendor relationships or, how to be a good client (Microsoft)

  • What happens when I change vendors (Joey Smith, Schnucks)

  • Contracts, contracts, contracts (TBD)
