Emily Heath Added to Alliance Board Of Directors
St. Louis, Missouri—August, 2018—Emily Heath, Chief Information Security Officer with United Airlines, has been elected to Security Advisor Alliance’s board of directors.
Heath brings a diverse background as a former police officer, financial crimes investigator and accomplished information security leader.
Emily Heath is United’s Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer. In this role, Emily oversees the airline’s global information security program as well the IT regulatory, governance and risk management functions. Emily also serves as a Board member for the Aviation Information Sharing & Analysis Center (A-ISAC) and the National Technology Security Council (NTSC), a non-profit, non-partisan organization that serves as the preeminent advocacy voice for Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) on matters of state and federal policy in Washington DC.
Prior to joining United Airlines, she was the Global Chief Information Security Officer at AECOM, a Fortune 500 architecture, engineering and construction company where she led the information security, regulatory and risk programs. Before joining AECOM, Emily served in various IT leadership positions, working with MGM Studios, Sony Pictures and home fitness company Beachbody LLC.
Originally from Manchester, England, Emily is a former Police Detective from the UK Financial Crimes Unit where she led investigations into international investment fraud, money laundering and large scale identity theft cases, running joint investigations with the FBI, SEC and London’s Serious Fraud Office.
Emily and her teams have been the recipients of CSO Magazine’s CSO50 Awards for their work in cyber and risk. She was also a finalist for SC Magazine’s in CSO of the Year Award 2017.
